Aamchi Mumbai (“we”, “us”) operates a restaurant at 1080 E El Camino Real, Suite 1, Sunnyvale, California 94087. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you order from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
When you place a pickup order by phone we collect only what is needed to prepare and hand over that order:
Calls to our ordering line are recorded. We say so at the start of every call.
When you place an order by phone, we ask for your mobile number so we can send you an order confirmation and, where applicable, a secure payment link. By providing your number you consent to receive these transactional text messages from Aamchi Mumbai. Calls are recorded and consent is captured during the call.
We do not send marketing or promotional texts, and we never sell or share your mobile number with third parties for marketing purposes.
Message frequency varies by order — typically two to three messages per order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. Opting out does not affect your ability to order from us by phone.

We use it to take and prepare your order, to send you the order confirmation and payment link you agreed to receive, and to keep a record of the transaction for our own accounting. We do not build marketing profiles and we do not sell personal information.
Card payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number — Stripe handles it directly. We retain only the amount, the date, and a reference to the payment.
We share information only with the service providers that make ordering work — our payment processor, our telephony and messaging provider, and our order-management software — and only to the extent they need it to perform that service. We also disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell personal information to anyone.
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes. Call recordings and message logs are kept for a limited period to resolve disputes and to evidence consent, then deleted.
Our services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
